We use Ht46r22 single chip microcomputer and a MC33035 to design a high-power permanent magnet motor control circuit. The four-way control handle is used to realize the forward, backward, left and right control of double motors. The motor can be 24V / 300W or 500W, or 36V or 48V. In some amusement parks, we add time control unit, use single chip microcomputer to control working time, and use 3-bit led to display the remaining time. At the same time, it has soft start and slow stop delay function to prevent accidental injury caused by sudden start of motor.

2. Introduction to MC33035:

MC33035 is the second generation of special control integrated circuit for brushless DC motor produced by Motorola, mc33039 is the special integrated circuit for closed-loop speed control of Brushless DC motor produced by Motorola, and irams10up60a is the motor drive chip produced by international rectifier, with built-in reverse bridge, boost, drive and protection circuit. MC33035 is mainly composed of the following components: rotor position sensor decoding circuit, internal reference power supply with temperature compensation, sawtooth oscillator with settable frequency, error amplifier, pulse width modulation (PWM) comparator, output driving circuit, undervoltage protection, chip overheating protection, current limiting circuit and fault output, etc.

Typical control functions of MC33035 include PWM open-loop speed control, enable control (start and stop), forward and reverse control and energy consumption braking control.

MC33035 and mc33039 are highly integrated chips, so the three-phase brushless DC motor control system based on it has the advantages of simple circuit, strong anti-interference ability, high reliability and good stability. Irams10up60a motor drive chip can make the motor power up to 750W.

3. Working principle:

Although the MC33035 three-phase brushless DC motor control IC, only one phase control is used in our application. When the single chip microcomputer is powered on, the countdown starts. When the MCU recognizes the control handle signal and outputs the corresponding phase inversion voltage, it also starts the soft start process. The PWM pulse width output gradually changes from small to large. The input voltage added to the MC33035 increases from 2.4V to 4.2V, and the motor rotates slowly until full power output. The delay time can be set by the single chip microcomputer program to complete the soft start process.

When the control handle is in the center position, all control contacts are disconnected, the single chip microcomputer has no PWM signal output, the MC33035 has no drive voltage output, the FET is cut off, and the motor stops rotating.

MC33035 is a three-phase stepping motor control driving circuit, which has perfect protection function, high cost performance and reliable operation. It is very suitable as a driving circuit.
